ESP8266 and ESP32 on home page
Hi,
At https://freertos.org/RTOS_ports.html do I miss the microcontrollers ESP8266 and ESP32 from Espressif.
Why are those chips not listed in the main section? Why not even in *contributed* section?
In https://sourceforge.net/p/freertos/discussion/382005/thread/4418218a/?limit=25#6d15 can with wishfull thinking be read that the ESP32 supported by FreeRTOS. When will that nice status be added to the ports page?
Those who celeberate christmas: Happy XMAS.
Cheers

This page: https://www.freertos.org/a00090.html lists the demo that are
included in the download from the FreeRTOS.org site, and there isn’t an
ESP32 demo in the download. However, FreeRTOS is included in the IDF
(effectively the SDK will bells and whistles) distributed by Espressif
themselves, and there are demos for two separate ESP32 boards in the
Amazon FreeRTOS Github rep:

The chips ship with FreeRTOS 8.x embedded as part of there microcode. The port is from the chip manufacturer and can be downloaded from there website.
